I've always leaned towards the PS but I've had both xboxes as well. This generation has given me no reason to make my primary console anything other than a PS4.
I won't be a day one buyer though. So if MS sort themselves out it could sway me later on.
Just got a new gaming PC so that will keep my busy for a while.

I'm also sticking with my PS4 pre-order now. The couple of mates I regularly play with have also chosen the PS4 so that's 3 less day one sales for the Xbone. I think a lot of people with think the same way.
It is good news though and I can see me eventually getting the XB as my main TV media box, there should be a nice back catalogue of games by then aswell.

Oh, and I wont have to listen to CivPilot telling me how good the PS4 joypads are!!!

cheeky f
ker!!I was quite clear that I have rubber sleeves on my PS3 that make it über comfortable.
And it was you who started it when you rolled out the generic 'play station controllers are s
t/small/not as good as Xbox' despite not having not even seen how much bigger the ps4 controller is.

Well I'll not be changing my mind. Ps4 for me. Should have got it right first time. They probably expect everyone to come back to Xbox now. Hope it doesnt happen. Arrogant gits.
I'm along the lines of "F*** 'em" for thinking it was a good idea in the first place.Still no want for the Xbox ONE here, I reserve the right to change my mind as and when I see fit

"You spoke, we listened"
More like:-
"You abandoned use in the pre-order charts in droves, we panicked and are begging you to come back and love us again"

Damage done for me. Some of the folk Microsoft rolled out at E3 after the Sony press conference just came across as really arrogant.
What Microsoft's U-Turn revealed, in crystal clarity, is that they were erstwhile purposefully screwing over their customer base solely to extract every available penny they could. That being their original mindset, I hope anybody now contemplating an XBone purchase considers how they'll be treated further down the line. Remember, they haven't removed the highly suspicious Kinect restrictions. It's still £80 more expensive than the technically superior PS3. And their online service (which you pay for) doesn't include regular gifts/games/rewards.

You do get these now, first free game was Fable 3 earlier in the month and they're going to be giving 2 away free each month, something they've clearly copied from Sony, but nice to have.Steve Evil said:

Only till Xbone is released, then it stops, Sony run it as a constant thing with PSN+.
I don't know how Sony or Microsoft are going to be able to do it after the launch of the new consoles, with neither one being backwards compatible at launch. It may just be indie/XBLA games they'll give away at first, then after a year or so they'll start making some of the older titles available. Sony also have the option of giving away older titles once their cloud platform is up and running.colonel c said:
Now they need to stop ripping off UK customers and lower the price to £325 the same as US price and I'll order.
I see no reason to put a £100 premium for non US customers. Especially as we wont have all the 'TV' functionality they are shouting about.
There's a little thing called VAT. Most of the time the Americans will have sales tax to pay on top of their advertised price, so the prices really aren't that different, look at the prices of any consumer equipment between here and the US and you'll see it's the same story.I see no reason to put a £100 premium for non US customers.
