You lost me right about here...

"the argument towards avoiding masturbation and in particular porn seems to make sense"

There have been guys who surf so much porn that they have problems getting hard when with a real women, I think that was more psychological problems rather than physical ones though.

The age old question applies though, how much is too much?

Depends. If you're single and lead a sex-free life, you'll be a hero to many women but will possibly die a lot younger, specifically of prostate cancer.

I wonder if these men had "lost" the ability though i.e. had sexual relationships that deteriorated due to porn overload; or whether they were men that had never had a sexual relationship with a real live woman and due to frazzling their brain with porn, couldn't perform when it came down to it?

I must admit after seeing a woman dressed as Snow White being gangbanged by 7 midgets, it does make the average woman on the street seem a bit vanilla.
Purely for research purposes, where would I find this?

What are you hoping to achieve by avoiding masturbation or porn? Some sort of world record when you finally get to see a woman naked?

Not in the "great in bed" capacity but in the "he's not just a typical one-tracked mind man".

thank god, i knew i was doing it to save my marriage

porn has improved my marriage, took her several years to realise that sex isnt about love.
and if she did act more like the women on screen, how much more pleasurable it is not only for me, but also her . spermspermspermspermsperm lol

can honestly say porn has influenced me sexually, but not as much as some of the depraved women i meet early in my life. these women i really must thank one day!

Am I reading this wrong or are you saying sex is better than masturbation for keeping prostate cancer at bay? Surely the end result of both is the same?

Just watched the Ted talk

He says that over time, those who watch Internet porn will find it hard to get an erection. I've been watching it most days since I was 13 or 14 (25 now) and I have no trouble at all getting it up, in fact it takes hardly anything laugh
