well not all opiates, as there are some present in you (and the rest of us) right now... particular types of opiates are extracted from poppies, i will give you that... wasn't sure about the seeds though otherwise surely you could just buy a job lot of them and get the breaking bad style lab on the go!

The ultimate sandwich.......

Lots of pastrami topped with lots of cheese then melt in microwave or under grill.

Add filling to a bagette that has had a generous amount of English mastard smothered all over.

Food of the gods.

Enjoy

I had a shorter baguette with pulled pork in tonight, no pics im afraid as I didnt think.

but cook the pork with marinade till it is done, then chuck bbq sauce over it and mix in, then cook for another 5-8 mins, and slap in between a cut baguettey type thing, and serve.

Poppy seeds get everywhere. I've just hoovered and mopped today so I need a non-seeded-loaf to try this.

Brisket looks good to me. It isn't a cut I've ever succeeded with. How do you cook it Cali?

Usually in the slow cooker. But tonight, I cheated... got one of these from Asda!

They are 2 for £6, and the range includes various ribs, wings and pulled pork, all slow cooked. Stick 'em in the over for 45 mins, then shred/slice and pour over the supplied BBQ sauce, and back in the oven for 10 mins. Very, very good.

brisket same as pork shoulder really, slow cooker or slow cooked in the oven. Carefully seasoned and rubbed, usually with some kind of liquid content just to keep it moist, cider etc. I will be investing in a tennessee smoker soon this Summer though!

Far from the ultimate but certainly quirky and very male. My excuse is I've been pushed for time and haven't been shopping but anyway, I present to you my:

Triple-decker Guinness Crisp, horseradish, smoked ham and onion marmalade sandwich!

When I'm out and about it is a Subway.

Before 11 = Footlong Bacon on Hearty Italian, cheese, toasted and Tomato Ketchup

After 11 = Footlong Turkey Breast and Ham on Hearty Italian, Cheese, Toasted, Lettuce, Red Onion, Sweetcorn, Peppers and Mayo

At home it ranges from Bacon and Mango Chutney (Actually amazing) to an all out raid on anything edible in the fridge and crisps

Try 'Geeta's' mango chutney on any ham or cheese sandwich.

It's heavenly.
