Whatever is written here about the incident, we werent there, we dont know all the facts and for some to "assume" that one party must have done something to light up t'others fuse, is just plain ridiculous. And for the one or two that just keep on banging that drum, go away, your becoming annoying with your patronising attitude.

Contradictory, much?
Indeed. Interesting to see peoples posts in this thread, in comparison to the hammer attack.

Yes. And I bet when you saw Christopher Jefferies' face you thought "GUILTY!".

Loads of smoke without fire.
Can I have a pint of whatever you were drinking when you typed this as it seems to be potent stuff.

Either that or please point to me to the relevant Google translator.

YOU don't KNOW that. So STOP dishing out BLAME when you're GUESSING rather than in possession of the FACTS.

And stop using upper case for random words, it's bloody annoying.

Whatever happened, she didn't "make" him do anything, he chose to attack her.

Whether there were other circumstances that led to that is neither hear nor there, if he can't control himself he shouldn't be driving and he shouldn't be anywhere near other people. Simple as.

You do realise tallbut knows this stretch of the M25 and does 60,000 miles a year and therefore knows better than anyone.

Apparently not. It would seem I am wrong and people are not responsible for their actions. It seems the merc driver lost his rag and attacked the woman drivers car for no reason whatsoever. It seems the merc driver was solely responsible for what happened.

Apparently my driving that section of road gives me no real experience of how people tend to drive or what traffic flow is normally like at differing times of the day.

Your the one that just doesnt get it arent you. We dont know what the lady in question did or didnt do, but you just keep going on and on that she must have done something.....we dont effin know do we. So stop going on about what an expert you are, that you know everything and everyone else must bow to your supreme knowledge.
You come across as an opinionated knowitall big head.

Can we now end this thread and please can you just b ugger off.

I think some people here project their own frustration/anger with traffic on that section of road to defend/understand the actions of this criminal, which as sensible people will agree, are indefensible/incomprehensible whatever the other driver may have done from inside their car. They actually want to feel a little sympathy for the guy, they kind of identify with him in a way as they would clearly love to teach other (perceived as) lesser drivers a lesson. Problem is, their perception of other drivers being lesser drivers is usually wrong as itself based on anger/frustration rather than a normal road sharing attitude.

If it helps I understand what you were trying to say.

But if we don't condemn attackers on here we are idiots.

Attacking someone over an incident on the road is the actions of scum, but I do see how easily something trivial can flick a persons switch if they are already wound up. Its likely the woman did something a bit silly or that she could have done better, its also likely that the driver who attacked her wasn't exactly demonstrating the skills of a model advanced motorist prior to the incident, but what is a certainty is that some people are unable to understand that when another motorist does something to affect them it was often neither intentional or personal.

Ok then put another way, lets just assume you are right and this woman cut him up, flashed her lights, beeped him, drove too slowly etc, lets pretend she did all of that - if that happened to you would you get out on the 'fast lane' and smack someone's car up. Or would you think it was reasonable for anyone else to do so - straight yes or no?

No-one, including Tallbut, has said that they think it would be reasonable.

Do you accept that - straight yes or no?

My car was nearly crushed against a high sided curb and an artic as it changed lanes on a roundabout straight into my path.

As I caught him and drew level he sat in his cab laughing at me.

Do you know what I would have done if there would have been no legal recourse after the event?

Dragged him from the cab and beaten him senseless.

Had it of not been intentional he would have apologised and moved back over.

Was he provoked? No.

I actually let him pull in front of me a mile prior, coming off the motorway.

A few years ago there must have been a woman driver somewhere who for months went around telling everyone that she had been followed by an angry lunatic calling her all the names under the sun and constantly jabbing his temple. She looked the type that that did not have the foggiest idea that she had just so very nearly caused a four car crash. All because she did not want to be held up for thirty seconds behind the car she had not seen that was making a right turn off the dual carriageway in front of her.She decided it was a good bit of judgement to pull into the stream of traffic that was passing quite legally on the inside lane.
I hope she had nightmares,I know I did wondering how the car in front of me missed her and how I missed him.

Yeah we all make mistakes. Even women. But it would seem that only men get angry enough to resort to violence.
