I saw this on a friend's FB today.

Frankly, there needs to be a wholesale overhaul of driving licences and standards. One would hope for a system which precludes such diminutive IQs and hostile attitudes to other humans.

Her twitter feed now is stark contrast from those tweets. You can smell her fear of the lynch mob.

There's already people posting her name and likely address / phone number on the internet.

She'll be sat somewhere crying about how it was meant to be funny.

I'd say that this would ruin her job prospects, but...hopefully a court appearance is on the cards.

According to her twitter, the Met investigated and no action has been taken.

I really don't get the hate for cycling, but its all over the place. Yesterday I saw anti cycling comments about the London Surrey ride, people making comments like "get of my road, the road drivers pay for"....do these morons not realise that a vast majority of cyclists pay to have a car sat at home?! Also, if I am not in my car, the road is less congested! And finally, I may hold you up for a moment or two, but once you are past me the road is going to be that little bit clearer, so you can make up the few seconds you have lost. It really does my head in!

I have just found a twitter account today called CycleHatred, some of the rubbish on there is unreal!

Yes, it beggars belief what people will post on Twitter. Would be interesting to know whether these idiots are getting anything back in terms of flaming for their comments.

Only thing I don't like about cyclists is when the law doesn't apply to them at red traffic lights.

The next cyclist that nearly runs me over as I cross at the lights because they couldn't be bothered to stop is going to be on the receiving end of a clothesline.

Other than that I like cyclists.

I'm not totally against cyclists.

I like to see the good in everything.

The metal bikes could be melted down to make Bentleys, the carbon fibre ones could be made into McLarens and the cyclists could be melted down and used to fill potholes. smile

I'm seeing and hearing a lot of cycle hate at the moment. Not quite sure why, but I swear its dramatically increasing.

I do wonder where all this negativity will end... the last sportive I did in the New Forest had a group of green jacket do-gooders just stood in the road, so you had to stop and walk around each one..they'd brought their kids to...as the riders threaded themselves through, the dim-witted collective murmered "keep mass cycling events off forest roads"....
..and why?..."because you scare the horses and get in the way of local traffic"

ohhhh I see... ok, next time I'll drive through then, yes that'll keep local traffic down, keep the horses feeling good and reduce emissions...

fking pricks.
Sad thing was there was a police car parked nearby to monitor events and did nothing...I'm guessing it's legal to stand around in the road... and throw tacks in front of oncoming cyclists...weird...

I love my bike

And often take my daughter out on the back in her seat (she's strapped in and we both have helmets on)

HOWEVER....

Why oh FECKING WHY...

Does everyone need to wear Lycra and shave their entire bodies now to get on their bikes, FOR FECKS SAKE...!!!

Trouble isn't cyclists, it's diccheads who take it all a bit too seriously...much like pistonheads forums really.

I wonder if you could be used for spares? Obviously a brain transplant is out of the question but there may be something that findus wouldn't reject...

Have you tried cycling 100 miles in jeans and a t-shirt?

Started off lovely but ended rather oddly, do you actually get that close to other men you know their bodies are shaved? hehe

Nope, however I did follow several 'serious' chaps who came from their house in front of me and daughter and blasted off down the river bank, we caught them up 20 minutes later when they were going up and down the banks and grunting all aggressively.

Yes if you're going 100 miles right oh, however this was 5.30 at night, they were going into the woods with me, no need at all to be head to toe in yellow with mirrored sunglasses - no need at all...!!

This man didn't feel the need for all that Yellow Spandex - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... top chap!
