Sorry don't like that at all.
That's a shame. I remember that I had reservations about the styling of the T350 when I had it - from some angles it just looked 'dumpy'. I thought the tweaks the Jap chaps had some nicely straightened it out (especially the god awful rear undertray).

No I don't like that either and I like the T350. That just looks odd.

Above all else I think it's the flared side skirt thingies that spoil it for me. Much prefer the orginal styling on all other TVRs where it swoops underneath the car rather than sticking out..

hope that makes sense!

I think the standard T350 is one of the prettiest TVRs and that's coming from a rabid Griff owner. biggrin

I think the skirts and undertray are too Max Power and add nothing, the front just makes it look like some sort of strange snake with a couple of wide spaced nostrils.

Horses for courses obviously. smile

The T350 already has an undertray - or at least it does till you rip it off on sleeping policemen (past experience). The current undertray is pretty ugly I'd say so the Jap mod'd one to me is a restyled part, certainly not a new addition.

The wheel arches don't look changed from a standard T350. The lower edges of the panels and doors have been modified to make them less curved which in my eyes makes the lines work better and the car less dumpy.

I'm not saying the T350 is/ was ugly, I used to own one. But from an upper 3/4 view it looked a bit squat and the skirts seem to reduce that. Just my opinion...

Wow, that's got a rear end on it that makes the Griff's look positively petite smile

I think that rear end completely misses the point of the Griffith!

That black one has borrowed lines of the Sagaris I recon. Especially the hockey stick headlights. It's been ten years, so what about the future. Revolution rather than evolution. Something brave and fresh is needed in IMHO. It's been a decade and TVR's styling was hardly predictable in the wheeler years. That yellow T350 is a waste of filler and paint, plus a T350.

Mclaren are almost there in styling terms to TVR. They are making statements that people will either love or hate. At least their latest effort isn't a re~hash of every one else's thoughts. Can't say that I'm a fan though, but the spirit is there.

He who dares etc.

GTRene has the right idea with the black Ferrari concept. I love the lines and general shape. For a TVR the rear end looks a bit too Aston Martin esk; not that there is anything inherently wrong with that.

I think they need to make two models and set price points between £45-70k. The lower end would really make an everyman's car.

I took the picture.... biggrin

Al is the 'A' in AJP and designed the Speed 6 before the modifications by TVR but that's another can of worms that doesn't need opening on this thread. wink
