With Arse winning the cup does that mean we go straight into the group stages of the Europa Cup. I would have rather Hull won but it would have been we started our season really early, extra games we could have done without, what with some of our top players doing a summer stint as well.

I just don't get this, I would rather my team play competitive euro qualifiers than meaningless friendlies against FC Oregon or someone.I'm also a Celtic fan and let me tell about what can happen in a early preseason qualifier.
You get a 'minnow' half way through their season,
add a splash of bad luck,
players still full of San miguel,
-oh, and bring Collina out of retirement to get rid of us again,
= potential for disaster!
and my november 'summer' hols go up in smoke.
Been around in europe following Celtic many times and desperate to follow Everton there

Lukaku is our number one target, IF and its a big IF he signs permanently, there will be little, if any, money left in the kitty, so take any multi million £ signings with a pinch of salt. There is no interest in Demba Ba, I am told. I think the 1st team squad will grow by about 6 players, Martinez has stated he will blood two youngsters from the U21 per season,Browning and one other for next year, looks like a young Irish lad by the name of Ryan Robinson( 18yr old centre back) will sign by the end of the month according to some reports, putting 2+2 together, thats no Lescott.
As mentioned a few months ago the Hibbo deal is nearly done, 18 months extension, i`m not a big fan but apparently he is another very good pro who will help blood in the youngsters, and provide cover. Vellios has gone, and the young keeper. Still waiting on the Conner Mcaleny situation, i think Bobby wants him to stay but thats up in the air at the moment.Other likely departures??, Gueye and Duffy.
Other incomings will be loans and frees.

I would choose Bony over Lewi any day. Bony as a great first touch and is excellent in the air. I don't think we would get Lewi even if he became available Chelski will want top dollar and there are plenty of clubs out there who will outbid us.
With out getting your hopes up, Roms agent has already started rattling cages, hence the cat and mouse games of Chelski getting ready to offer him a new contract, to match or probably better any offer we could make. This transfer is down to Romelu Lukaku if he wants to come here the tranfer will happen.According to my source, Chelsea will bring in the Athletico striker, and bring back Didier Dogbark!!!! He gets most things right so we will wait and see??

I'm not so sure Duffy will leave. He had a fantastic season down with us (Yeovil Town) last year and was not to blame for our relegation. RM thinks highly of him, I know, and he's been called up to the full Eire squad for the forthcoming summer camps.....Other likely departures??, Gueye and Duffy. I can't see Lukaku being at Chelsea next year....if he goes there he won't be first choice and at his age that's everything. It would be a massive retrograde step for him sitting on a bench. Chelsea need to sell to buy players because they don't have a lot of leeway with FFP (previous years losses). I would have thought Everton would be in with a good shout, playing good football and in Europe. I can't see any club on the continent out bidding a PL team for him and I don't think any of this year's Top 4 would want him. Spurs could be your biggest rivals for him!

Duffys Dad posts on one of the Everton forums, he seems to think that he is not a Martinez type Centre Back, and will go out on loan again next season, but if an permanent offer comes in for him he could be on his way?T66ORA said:

Oh right, maybe not then. His dad posted on our Facebook page a few times (Brian, I think) and Shane despairs of him. He told us seven players were leaving well before the retained list csme out... he's not that popular at our club. Just seen this chaps
Looks like any hopes of #EFC getting Deulofeu back on loan have dwindled with new Barca boss Enrique reportedly keen to use him next season
