What price to embarrass yourself?

£750 you say? Tax Free? NIC Free? 40% tax bracket ? It's worth £1300 before tax.
Yes, I'd do it.
(I'd fake it with an elaborate pipe system taking perfumed cold water from a hot water bottle strapped flat to my back, and I'd explain to my manager that I was going to do it, and give half the money to a charity of his choice, and get him in on faking the dealing with the aftermath)

I read that whole post in a "Nev" accent too. If these guys are supposed "Sales" people is £750 not a disproportionately amount of money versus lost commission . The minutes his clients find out then goodbye commission. I wouldn't shake the hand of "Mr Pissypants" to close a deal. Therefore he must be st at sales and figures £750 is more than he would have earned anyway

Sales Reps... Say no more, usually big charicters and extroverts.
Fair play to the lad if he does it
Really?Fair play to the lad if he does it
He must be poor.
The ones I know wouldn't do it for ten times that
The more successful ones seem not to be.
But none would do that for many multiples of £750
I honestly don't think the money is that important in all of this, although obviously he'll hold out for the best possible sum and I wouldn't be surprised if it went higher. It's just all about meeting the challenge for these guys but I've not known anything quite as extreme as this one. The problem, I guess, is the longer-term consequences if it all goes a bit wrong.
Anyway, as I said he's a confident sort with a fair bit of bravado about him and a bit more egging on might just push him there. Whether he'd have the balls to go through with it when the time came remains to be seen.
The meeting is in about 10 days time.

What's the product? My money's on copiers or stationery.
We used to play this game when we were younger. Basically name some who you wouldn't shag and then "name her price".
Looking back, the fees banded about at 15/16 we rediculously low, I think the highest was something like £2k for a right munter
Then again, back then £50 would see you have an epic weekend in my mates shed which was packed to the rafters with women, booze & drugs
