He has to wear one but I'm not sure if he's in the squad.

I’d hate to see our season written off before the first week in June.
Chelsea are about to sign a world class midfielder and a top striker.
Yeah, so what.
Woodward has a plan.
United will adopt Barnie bear as the official mascot of United Alaska. A huge campaign centred on Nome (Alaska) will magically monetise Turkish Airlines, Indian low-alcohol beer (Lo-can) and Alaskan bears in the social medial event of the week, if not the month.
In fact, United will paint Nome red. We will then be able to counter the Big Four in the Premier League who have wasted their summer buying players with the new United strap line “There’s no place like Nome.” United directors can trouser massive bonuses having further leveraged the Glazers’ debt. United can bask in the glory of knowing that they are one of the best home teams at Old Trafford and that no-one can pass the ball sideways better than them.
Woodward & Co. You Nome it makes sense.
A very good example to children about avoiding drugs.

Thanks. I'm encouraged by the feedback and will launch another tirade at an inappropriate moment.

The latest player we're interested in is apparently Alexis Sanchez. I suppose if the papers keep guessing they have to get at least one right.

Our CEO is over in Barca atm, this is one we are being massively linked with...also the scouts we took from City have been tracking him for ages...maybe the reason we now are? be a great signing for whoever gets him.

Which one of our players is likely to have the best world cup?

I'll stick my neck out and say Juan Mata.

Or van Persie.

Or maybe Rooney.

Plus 1.
It would be typical of the guy to impress the whole world with his box to box domination ........ Whilst playing for Belgium.

De Gea - he's third choice Spanish keeper so he's going to be spending the next 5 weeks with a free hotel & board + getting free admission to watch awesome footy matches (and probably the WC final) - and the rest of it on the beach! biggrin

Mata won't play

Van Persie will probably be alright but if he's still not fit or carrying pain as he said who knows. Plus the Dutch are either amazing or utterly terrible in each tournament.

Rooney will be ste as usual. Coming back from injury he's always terrible and he's not been very good in the warm up games either.

I'm not sure there's much to give an opinion on to be honest. The media is making more of it just because it's a recently retired Man United legend giving an opinion on a current Man United player.

Scholes just gave his opinion, Rooney doesn't agree... not much else to it. Quite a few people will agree with Scholes though. smile

Rooney says he's never had Scholes mobile number, nor Scholes his.

Suggests that they weren't the best of friends. hehe

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that Rooney isn't Scholesy's cup of tea, maybe it's his accent? whistle

It's the first time we have heard Scholes voice his opinion on anything; indeed, the first time we have heard his voice. He must have a movie coming out.

When Scholes criticised Wilshere, he went out of his way to speak to Scholes and get some advice on how to improve because he knew Scholes knows his st. I prefer that kind of response to be honest and think better of Wilshere for it.

Who was it who said Scholes didn't talk much but when he did, you listened because it was worth listening to?
