In the UK. Can't seem replica shirts being sold for the equivalent price all around the world. I imagine middle east might be slightly more expensive, maybe Far East too, but a lot of places will be much cheaper, surely?

United sell around 1.5 million shirts a year and the cost upto £75. With all the other merchandise there's plenty of money in it for Adidas.

I'd presume some of this includes access to players and image rights?

Either way, commercial team have pulled a blinder.

That is a most agreeable sum, or as my hoe would say: bang tidy.

It's an incredible deal.....but to be expected when you look at the shirt sponsorship deals etc....clearly Utd are worth a huge amount more than anyone else.

Locking that in for ten years is the smart bit. Utd's brand value is built upon the incredible success achieved under SAF, if LVG achieves half of that he'll have done very, very well indeed. Mind with Man U's unique financial position and Man City and Chelsea having to comply with FFP there's no reason why they shouldn't....I think Utd have £100mil plus more a season to play with than anyone else. That goes a long way!

It all depends on what is included in the deal though.

For instance our deal with Warrior is 'only' £25m per year, but that had no performance related clauses (at a time when we'd been out of the CL for a few seasons), and gave them no other rights than to create the main kit. I believe we get all the proceeds from selling replica shirts all around the world.

So it's getting harder and harder to compare kit deals between the top clubs because not all deals are equal.
