Two enquiries about the car, both unknown car check company enthusiasts. The one this evening said he trusted his car check place because it was recommended by a friend who works for BMW.

His dad is almost undoubtedly bigger than my dad, too.

+44 7782 271711 / Andrew Chadwick (claimed) - wanting an AutoAnalyst report

Worryingly - the whatsapp exchange was more realistic than the usual crap.

Car up for sale for months. Early on I had six scam calls, then nothing for ages. Then a bloke rings me up! "Can I look at the car?" He comes round, asks if I can drive him in it for a few miles, offers me £200 less than I asked. We settled on £100 less than I asked. He did a transfer then and there and came back an hour later with his lad to pick it up. I didn't even put 'first to see will buy' in the ad, but that's what happened. He didn't ask about a check on the car but did read the MoT history.

The scammers do not behave like car buyers.

norajane01@protonmail.com - asking for a VHD report vehiclehistorydecode.com - this was obvious from the first reply, and the postcode they gave didn't exist.

reliy01@protonmail.com - almost certainly will ask the same thing. Also fake post code. Email account seems to be dead already

Manual Jaffery - manualjaffery4250@gmail.com - truevinreport.com

Adaaslan - adabzbsbkz@gmail.com - asking for a VHR report. Gave postcode as Heathrow airport.
