Hard luck Jon; btw how many children did you mow down while on your hell bent 39mph rampage?
Hmm, let's see. Dual carriageway with two lanes in my direction, bounded on both sides by unbroken Armco barrier. I'd say..... um.... (counts fingers)..... none.

If you refuse the fixed penalty notice and have your day in court - even if you plead guilty - you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that the greedy partnership does not get the cash.
Unfortunately, the greedy mercenary bastard* that is me loses a day's income as I'm self-employed.

The figure was only zero due to the speed, sorry, safety camera. Had that not been there you'd have caused carnage!!!

You can plead guilty with mitigation by letter, if that's right for you.

I really should do something about this - my 28 days will be running out shortly I would imagine.

I was thinking of pleading guilty (since I can't honestly deny I was a few mph over the 30 limit at that time and place) but being difficult and sending the PACE letter as advocated by pepipoo.

Incidentally, the scamera was located as shown on the following map (in the red circle) at the tip of the adjoining road, nicely nestled into the trees and other parked vehicles and behind the armco.

Sneaky, eh?

Nice to see they were nicely hidden to maximise income and minimise the effect of slowing people down near such a dangerous section of road!

Bloody careless murderers!
