Thanks for all the well wishes folks. Good news is I didn't barf all over the place, didn't barf at all actually. Lots of good jobs too.

Seems I was politically incorrect enough to leap the first hurdle. Still a very long way off, and have to wait until the 9th to see if I go further. Fingers crossed.

A top day though.

I'll have my fingerts crossed for you Mike. I have a PPL myself and I've been up in our Islander spotter plane a couple of times. The pilot even let me have a go at the controls last time! I think we're one of only a few forces to have a fixed wing air support unit.

Not counting my chickens yet, but you never know.

Weather wasn't too bad really fif, spent a lot of the shift in gloucester.

From what I remember of Bristol (B&B in W-o-T), that means you need a pilot who can read a map...
