Received email from repairer , saying Please note your payable insurance excess upon completion of your vechicle is £0.00 , which fits in with insurance saying non- fault accident .
Received letter from police saying they are investigating & can take upto 6 months .cars has a lot more damage than I thought so glad we did go through insurance

Have now had the car repaired ( excellent work ) with no cost to us , letter from police saying they are taking no further action due to lack of evidence .

Shame the police aren't taking any action though!
