Stumbled across this whilst searching for opinions on fence sprayers. Partly due to this thread I decided to go for the easier and cheaper option of using one of my sons to do it with a brush, as I direct operations from the patio, with a cold beer at hand.hehe

Anyway, are the neighbours talking to you yet OP?

You did the right thing, I used a dance sprayer once and dappled my neighbours car and their house window frames! Luckily I noticed so managed to clean it off, but the sprayer then went in the bin so I don't make the same mistake again!

Warning to us all, rings in my ears when I went to paint my fence a few weeks ago. Brushing took longer, but worth it to reduce any risk!

I sympathise with the OP, things which are really quite simple to resolve end up causing grief out of all proportion to the original issue, I haven't spoken to my neighbour for over 7 years because of a boundary issue with a block paved drive. Could have all been resolved with the builder screwed up and they will fix it but no, he copped an attitude and the rest is history.

Best advice to the OP is move somewhere else, you may think you can deal with the situation over the long term but it has a corrosive effect that really just isn't worth suffering.

Remembering, of course, to declare the dispute to prospective buyers. wink

Having to declare it to prospective buyers is the major sting in the tail especially if the row wasn't your fault in the first place, is there a time limit where it no longer matters?
