100 in mum's "borrowed" MG BGT as a teenager on L plates
145 (indicated) on my Triumph T955 Daytona on Kingston bypass in 1997 (racing a Griff)
160 (indicated) in Fiat Coupe Turbo on way back from Le Mans in 1998
275 (kph) in E34 M5 Touring also on way back from Le Mans in 2001 (think that's about 168mph)
....plus Rouen to Eurotunnel terminal in 1 hour 4 mins also in 2001 (its about 205km IIRC)

...and for this year's Le Mans trip, I've got myself a Cerby 4.5, so watch this space!!

about 130 on track in a single seater.

Indicated 125 on a private test track driving my dads car. Surprising how many times you here the M57 called that.

147 in a 2.0 Vectra sounds a wee bit optimistic as well, the 1.8 I had for a while was hard pushed at anything above 115.

Then you have the hairpin at the top to go onto the M58

155 MPH indicated in my V6 Alfa Spider chasing a pair of 355 Spiders... I assume it was less than that in reality, as the book top speed is 145... unless it's the Optimax!

I presume this is indicated, I have driven at the same indicated speed in Germany (honest) in a 2.0 Vectra. It was down hill and the car was not impressed by the corner at the bottom in the slightest but that was the speed shown.

Have a lovely piccie of limiter speed on the Autobahn on last years jaunt down to Tuscany.

However.......
10mph above the electronic limiter speed(God knows how)
on a nice private road. Allow +/- 5% tolerance as it is a Beemer and should be fairly accurate, with some more in reserve (only a little). Felt quite stable too!

mmm, looks like 195mph+ is my target for this year's Le Mans trip then. Better re-fit the chin spoiler to the Cerbera though or may well be able to jump the Channel.....

You'll be wanting that chin spoiler Cerbs are certainly more stable at speed than chimps and griffs but the 360 felt a lot more relaxed about the whole thing! good luck

Blood & sand!

Tell me, is yours a non-fettled M5? In your experience, what would a derestricted E39 M5 be good for. Just out of interest.

Great piccie, btw - er - where was this (if you can answer? )

Might be an idea to let the engine warm up first.
