Are you kidding?

he has his position to maintain and the responsibility for all the learners.

He is on a two wheeled device that is easily knocked over and WILL subject him to great pain.

He is an instructor , not Chuck fking Norris.
It's wording I find tailgaters annoying and concerning as a car driver imagine what it's like for bikers. I always try and give bikers space as they don't tend to like car drivers getting close as some feel more vulnerable, can't, help thinking how intimidating when the filter through traffic at speed, some don't seem to mind getting close then!

I once had one tailgate me and then overtake on a solid white line into a blind bend. He got offside and I shook my head. With this the biker saw red got in front of me and stopped, got off the bike walked to my car I had wound the window down. He punched my wing mirror off and proceed to tackle me through the window. Two guy behind came to my aid and held him. He claimed I moved to run him off the road. Witnesses 2 independent thought he was mad and did not see me move to run him off the road.

Turned out two week previous he had got into a bother incident and had been run off the road and had just got his new bike. He couldn't see that it was anything to do with his riding which both witnesses were not happy about either as they had been tailgated and overtaken dangerously by this guy to.

I assume from that day forth all motorcyclist are brain damaged.. I assume they need loads of space and if they show inpatients I allow them to pass at the earliest opportunity. As I don't like having my day recked or my car which I had to fix at my own expense. On the plus side the guy lost his job at a school! What a donut!

hey look

regarding the comment from George in Leeds It was not a puddle it was a heat haze,I know because I was one of the back riders . It was not a set up we were just on our way home from Skegness with learner riders. And what you dont see is the gap between the last 2 bikes which we left for him because he had been very intimidating for miles . he was so intent on passing he didn't see the speed trap.

not someone I would trust to teach others if he finds cars behind him 'intimidating'.

No, I am not kidding.

Nor am I Chuck Norris, but I know full well that almost every (as in 9,999,999 out of 10 million) car driver would rather not knock me off if they could help it. I do many thousands of miles a year on such a two wheeled device, but I can't remember ever being intimidated by a vehicle behind me.
