How fast on the road???
Discussion
I'm very impressed with you guys, we only managed 170 on the Thunderace (M11), 175 on the R1 (A120 & A414), and 160 on the Rettendon bypass... oops, did I mention Rettendon again??!
I would have gone faster, but the bikes don't seem to enjoy 2-up blasts over about 150.
Good job I resigned, eh?
Keep it real peeps!

I must have been lucky then .... managed to piss the boys in blue off in my T5 (we have the same engine I believe) .. took them about 20 miles to catch up, but lucky enough, they didnt actually clock m e, just knew I was gunning it .. result.. bollocking and let off with a warning

What did you do it with - Paint Shop, Paint Shop Pro?
Either that or you were thrashing the nuts off a cold engine? Is it possible to drive somewhere and get up to that speed before the engine warms up?

Apologies in advance if I am being a dickhead

Well observed, Kevin
Now let me pick that theory: If one would accelerate to a speed like this with a cold engine, the fuel gauge wouldn't show "full" would it?
>> Edite dto ask: btw, m-five, is that an LHD vehicle? Looks like the radio is right of the steering ...

This image was not doctored in any way it is a real-life, real-time photo.
Unfortunately it is a photo of the OBC gauge tests which is why the oil & water temps are low.
It is also a LHD car (mine is RHD) and the gasoline points to a US car.
Someone posted it on the BMW M5 forum and we spent ages analysing it for tampering and finally figured out the real set-up!

BTW I don't know if thrashing the motor like this up to the limit will warm it up quickly or not . . . because I always warm here up first!
