I was pulled by the rozzers for the spacing on my plate, D2LTA when it should have been D2 LTA. Luckily they just gave me a warning of the fine. I put it back to unchav.

Is the 60 quid fine not gonna rise to 100 soon?

My brother got pulled for illegal spacing ans copped a fine. My plate isn't illegal but would read better if it was. I see very obviously illegal ones all the time and wonder how they get away with it. Maybe they don't, maybe they have deep pockets for all the fines?

How many times a day do you end up in front or behind a Police car, or have one pass you and be in a position to easily turn around to pull you over? And that's assuming the person who does see you is clued up on the regulations - it seems some aren't.

I had a black and silver plate on my 2004 car for 6 months before being pulled, and it was by someone who was into restoring cars (we had a chat). Got given a VDRS and sent on my way.
