Cyclist Punched In The Face

I'm not debating who's at fault, but the comments lead me to believe the police wont act on either party until the cyclist comes forward.
Whats the law regarding this? Surely if i saw an assault in the street thats some sort of Public Order Offence and should be investigated?

Classic London. Everyone stands and stares. Both as guilty as each other. If the cyclist wasn't so tough maybe he shouldn't go picking fights, especially on his 1950s shopping bike. Car driver is a prick for doing that.

Car driver shouldn't have driven round them (though it is annoying being stuck behind a hoard of bikes) but the cyclist then went looking for a confrontation. He seemed quite aggressive as the camera went past him, so likely that he's done something further, whilst the camera bloke came to a halt and turned around which caused him to be decked.

Don't act in that manner and start mouthing off unless you can back yourself up.

Yes. He's also committed a bigger one by punching g someone. The cyclist may well have committed an offence too.

Indeed. The driver has someone bang on his window and shout 'fking prick' at him, possibly unaware that he has upset the cyclist to that extent.

So, careless car driver vs vigilante cyclist. A little more effort they could have had a proper fight.

Watch vid. The driver did not hit the cyclist. A passenger of the white vehicle hit the cyclist.

It was almost beautiful to watch!

The cyclist was never going to get away faster than the car so why go in front of him like that? I know it's a cycle only box or whatever but they are ridiculous!
The cyclist then chased the driver and became very aggressive and abusive. I would certainly have got out of my car and smacked the prick! It makes it even funnier when the cyclist then turns from being the big man to stting himself!

Please can people post more videos of these jumped up arse holes getting what they deserve?

I know many on here will strongly disagree with this but who cares.

Nope, the driver was clearly put in fear of violence, he used defensive force. No problem with that.

That is what bicycle boxes are for, for bicycles to end up at the front. Similar levels of bicycle traffic are common in London.

I suspect there may have been a bit more Audi vs bicycle action before the start of the video to get both of these plonkers worked up.
