Merde! Le Scamera!

I don't believe it! I got flashed by a forward facing scamera in France (in my bosses car ) He was sitting next to me though!

I was only going 135 - 138kph in a 130 limit autoroute Anyone got any experience of the french scameras? Do I need to worry?

To be honest, i'm fuing see my next post. I just found a bolt in my tyre this morning.

Don't worry about it, there's nothing they can do about it, yet!

Got flashed myself, cheeky barsteward was sat in a Peugeot something or other with a big flash gun mounted on the rear of his car, looked rather like one of those old Paddy Hopkirk reversing lights you used to get on old Mini's, only noticed it when it went off. He was parked in the V between the main carriageway and an on-ramp, most dangerous I thought.

This was a tiny grey camera, between the arnco's in the central reservation. Excellent for a blinding flash at 80mph, really safe that

You have nothing to worry about.

Last summer over 30% of speed offenses in France were due to foreign drivers with foreign plates, hence the push by the gov to interlink the systems, and transfer the offense back to the plod in your home country.

This is anyway not yet implemented, you can only get into trouble if effectively stopped by a patrol, you are immune to the camera with foreign plates.

You should be OK ... it ist if you have Swiss reg car you need to worry
