came across a new nightclub numpty on Friday

Thought I'd seen all the numpties you can get in nightclubs when i stumbled across a new one on Friday night.
He's Mr 7 foot tall, towering over just about everyone, fresh faced, and looks like he's straight out of school. He enjoys scowling down at anyone who crosses him (ie people who don't move when being shoved out of the way), presumably expecting the same response that he used to get with the kids in the playground. A nightclub ain't a playground however, and I just burst out laughing at him.
Now am I missing something, or is going round scowling down at people going get this young man in a teensy bit of trouble if he carries on with it?

Kinda OT, But lads are getting taller. I see many 6ft plus 17 year old. First night in a club.Mans body and Kids mind is definatly recipe for trouble
My 12 year old neice is taller than my wife and my 15 year old Nephew has larger feet than me and is a black belt in ju-jitsu. Best not to tease him about his spots then LOL
hmm, they cetainly are getting taller. Thing is, acting the hard man because of your height in a nightclub is only going to attract attention, and schoolyard rules do not apply.
Heard of one chap who certainly was quite handy, but didn't make much difference when someone smashed him round the head with one of those heavy glass cigarette trays.

Thats quite true. But if your going to go laughing at this chap, and other idiots like him,be carefull. There are plenty of nutters out there who have equally insane friends, and who think nothing of picking up the afforementioned ashtray and whanging it round your boat-race cos "you looked at him in the wrong way".
If im out and about, especially in clubs in London, when you see people who are obviously out for a bit of agro trying to provoke the world and his wife..I just give them a wide berth..laughing at them certainly wouldnt be top of my list.
you dont know who he was there with, or whether he was a nutter who carried a flick knife in his pocket. Im not a small bloke, but let be honest, half the time scum dont fight fair,and wouldnt think twice of using a knife or an ashtray,even though in a physical fight you could prob have pissed all over him.
However, a few stellas and humiliation could potentially lead to this guy losing his rag with someone and that could have been you...
If you are going to do this, make sure you are a bit handy and have a few mates who will muck in if it kicks off....

You can generally make quick judgements though. Look at his knuckles, his face, his general manor.
Plus the 'come on you, outside' speil. If someones going to go for it, they generally do straight away, they don't talk about it - in my experience.
Wouldn't it be nice just to have a nice pint, and a nice night!

I used to find the guys that dressed well in clubs are lovers not fighter
Apart from one guy whos screwdriver in his back pocket made me feel physically ill at the bad intentions of some people.
