Not saying I did set off a few because I never speed but those swiss are damn sneaky critters with their equipment And of course its hard to know speed limits in strange countires with big wide open roads and no traffic to be seen for miles.
And also noticed a little too late a Specs type affair(one central camera with 2 circular things a the sides) in France that unfortunately for me appeared to be facing the rear of traffic(was on the bike).

So just out of curiosty can I expect a letter from foriegn types and what happens if I do get one? Ignore it? or pay up. Either way they can't attack my uk licence can they yet? I rather like it being clean

They can't touch you yet, however some countries are helped by scumbag bLIAR and his cronies in that they are given your adress by scumbag and co. Your british license is NOT in danger, BUT they can ban you from driving in that country!!!
However there are socialist schemes afoot (centralised databases) whereby all licenses and ID cards will be freely exchangeable throughout the EU and thus all penalty points incurred in the EU go onto a central register and count together!!! Damn centralistic socialists!!! THIS is why bLIAR wants ID cards etc..... controlling the masses is what it's about!

No European country pursues people internationally for speeding camera fines unless they are obscene violations.

I was done on the spot over Easter this year in France doing 137 kmh in a 90 zone outside a school (don’t panic - it was Sunday and I had ½ mile visibility) Reasonable bloke mentioned normal practice is to impound my car ! I pleaded in my best French and walked off with a 60 Euro fine and an invitation to a tank factory where his father worked, end of – amazing but true.

Would 220 kmh in a 120 kmh limit count ?

I've just come back from Austria, and I spent a lot of time on the German autobahn at 200 kmh to 230 kmh.

I'm not sure I saw all the 120 kmh limit signs.

Mind you, even in the ones I did see, folks were sailing past me at 140-150 kmh with no bother.

Speed kills - my bottom. More like bad driving kills.

Schumacher and his mates go round the streets of Monaco at 250 kph any day of the week. I'm not fit to clean Shumacher's socks, but I'm sure I can manage 200 kph down the autobahn no problems.

Wheely bins Ist interesting on refuse day

Relax... they usually issue spot fines if mobile affair. Unless you are French - Swiss will not do you!

Watch out for wheely bin or a carved effort ...ist not always as seems und they have a robot "workman" on one motorway. Ist supposed to be a bit of a flasher but ist just there to "encourage a slow down" - ist a bit naff really Ist not normal to get ticket from "roboman"

Relax again - so far you cannot get done licence wise. They have been known to debit accounts in cases of car hire - but no licence points - no legislation yet - und really do not see how thy could do so without making points system more uniform across EU.
