Stupid speed comment in local paper

With the current backlash on speed cameras that seems to be happening :bounce: :D, the numpty brigade are still getting their oar in bigstyle.

Comment in the local paper the other day -

"Speed cameras do save lives as cars are very dangerours. The statement that speed does not kill is absolute piffle. When was the last time you heard of people dying in a pedestrian pileup? Tosh absolute Tosh"

What annoyes me about comments like this is that Mr Numpty writes a stupid letter into his local paper....then drives to the shops at 35mph through a 30 limit

This is Devon remember, old people come here to complain about life then die.

So hopefully in 15 or so years, most of the old generation miserable gits will have departed

Lets just hope they dont do too much to annoy the cool old folk (all 3 of them by my estimate round here... )

Und as for the other - people have mentioned the trample under foot in stadia und discos und so was.

But ist also the heart attack und lack of oxygen in continental market which leterally heaves und heaves und you really get swept along by river of people.

It happens - but ist not something which ist news noteworthy und ist rarely mentioned in tabloid press - but feature on hospital stats as heart failure/asphyxiation - but ist prpbably brought on by the overcrowding....
