Was driving home, through hilperton around 4.50 - going about 25 because this chap / lady in front was going slow, fair enough i thought so just percevered. Got to the bit where the road becomes one lane, due to the cars parked on the main road just down from the Lion & Fiddle pub when the car in front stops, puts on his fog lights, gets out his car and gets out his mobile and starts looking at my plate.. WTF.. He pulled over, i drove on as before and he starts flashing me... What did he expect me to do, stop so he could abuse me for driving normally?! I could understand his actions if i was road raging him up or driving like an arsenholen but I was leaving the usual 2 second gap.. Anyway. I doubt the police will follow this up will they, I mean, i was doing no wrong and the blame, whatever that might be, is his word against mine surely? Will there be any comeback?

Who is he going to phone? I can just imagine the 999 call:

999: "Police emegency - What is the problem"

Old Man of Hilperton: "I'm being harrassed by a hooligan driving behind me"

999: "Is it an emergency sir? Is anyone hurt or has there been an accident?"

OMofH: "Er, no, but this ruffian was driving behind me looking like he wanted to break the speed limit!"

999: Click....

OMofH: "Hello?....... Hello?...... Are you there?........... Mildred, I think my hearing aid has packed up again..."

Hello? Heard my name mentioned.

Probably thought your car was too loud.

Probably sounded like you were going too fast?

Have you got Xenons? Did you have them on? Thats the usual problem people have with me.

Nice to see there are so many locals here.

The thing is you were in Trowbridge and you know what they say about folk from Trowbridge.
