Penalty Points, How Long...

...does it generally take for your license to come back once it has been sent off to have penalty points endorsed on it?

I handed mine into the police station then went and paid my fine at the crown court at the beginning of August, the morning after I was stopped but haven't been sent my license back.

I have been on both relevant websites but I can't find any information on the matter, and any positive links I do spot, seem to loop me back to the home page.

Can anyone advise me on the situation from personal experience and any contact details I can use?

Should be within 28 days of the receiving the payment.

Wooops! I have made my self look like a criminal eheh.. I did actually mean "County" court. 12.30 in the morning, 41mph in a 30mph zone. 3 Points, £60 Fine. I was gutted, first ever encounter with the police for anything, and Ive been driving for almost 5 years!

Was contemplating using, "Sorry officer, I am desperate for a poo" excuse like a mate did, but I thought it was best not to.

Its not a 'County (civil) Court' but a Magistrates Court.

Peruse the Phone Book for the Magistrates Courts Office for the area of the Mags Court that was involved and get in touch with them either personally or dog and bone.

If the number isn't listed then speak to you local Plod to help with a number.
