Hi All,

A girl in work received a V5 document through the post for a brand new Ford Fiesta in her name. She does not own a car or drive?? She called DVLA and they have told her fill a form but the form is only to find out who the registered keeper is.

Is there any way to find out if they have taken out finance in her name or who sold the car?

Any help please she is really worried

John

Get an expierian credit check done. This will show up any finance taken out in her name.

As for who sold it to her, the DVLA should have a record of the registering dealer, failing that Ford will have. I shall ask a mate of mine if it is possible at a Ford dealer to find out where it was registered.

Also the registration mark will give some indication as to where in the country.
