. A petty but annoying thing ...

Is it possible to challenge a parking ticket on the grounds that the box on the ticket where the colour is described has the wrong colour entered. Rather than black it says 'other'.

Cheers

Have a look at Parking Appeals dot com but I think it will cost you a tenner.

Almost certaintly not, if all other information is correct.

Go back, check signage and markings - thats what will get you off a ticket.

Were you parked illegally? Are you guilty? I doubt if you will get off on a small technicality like colour. Reg number, wrong street, wrong time, then yes you have a chance.

If your guilty and don't feel the ticket is unjust then you better pay up!

Under the Regs there is no requirement at law to state the colour of a vehicle on a PCN.

But, if other than that owned, it may open an avenue to query if a cloned vehicle is involved?
