Parking Tickets!

The parking restrictions on my road are from 10am -> mid day.
I bought a car on Monday. On Tuesday at 9am I went to buy a parking permit.
'sorry the system is down, let me take your payment and ill give you a receipt and you can come get it tomorrow morning.'
'So if I put this receipt on the dashboard I won't get a ticket'
'yeah sure'

... Got a ticket.

Went and picked up the parking permit the next day. 'Sorry the printer didn't work properly so I wrote the zone on the permit.

Today, another ticket. (After I realised she wrote the wrong zone).

I will complain about both tickets, but its just so annoying.

What you fail to understand is that the issuing of parking tickets is to pay the salary of the warden.

If you didn't have wardens, we wouldn't need parking tickets.

And that would be, um, bad.
