Do these now have to be marked and display a camera sign, or is this no longer required?

Markings and camera warning signs have never been required.

No need to be marked, conspicuous, have their presence advertised or even be parked in a manner that you or I would call 'lawfully' - in fact, they've even be known to actively disguise their enforcement vehicles..

Another "Urban Myth" about signage

Mind you I was told a couple of weeks back that the famous North Wales Horse Box was still in use !!

It struck me last November, as I rapidly braked to pull in front of the slow moving lorry I'd overtaken on seeing a white van up the road, that the police presence would have been far better occupied ensuring temporary suspension of certain traffic lights in Newtown during Wales Rally GB than trying to bag the frustrated motorists just leaving the 1 hr bottleneck. Fortunately I made it before I was in their range (although I wasn't sure until the 14 days had elapsed!)
