Does anyone actually know how Gypsies tax/insure/register their cars?

I have seen them driving around in cars too expensive to lose or have crushed and they have current tax on them. I dare say some could be copies etc but with so many ANPR equipped cars about now I can't see that working too well. To get the tax they presumably need to be insured and registered to someone somewhere?

So where are they registered to, are they insured and if not and they get pulled, what then?

Anyone know?

a lot of the nicer cars are leased.
But surely to lease or hire a car you must have to able to prove who you are, as in address, credit history etc etc?

They have a permanent address that they could be contacted at.
As a community or as individuals?

Due to a need for a fixed address the system conspires to ensure theyre unlicensed, untaxed, uninsured and unregistered.
Unless they give a random fixed address to satisfy the system.
Can't say about all of them but to say their vehicles are mostly untaxed is untrue, I have seen lots of their vehicles with current tax on them, hence my original question.

If as you say they are regularily driving around "unlicensed, untaxed, uninsured and unregistered" then what are the BIB doing about it, I know what would happen if I tried it.
