129mph on a 70mph DC

In a car, 8pm on a clear sunny evening in the summer, on the A120 outside Colchester. Caught by a copper with a speedgun, NIP arrived within time, court in Feb.

I would say it's not me, but no-one believes that anyway! For the record though, it's not


What do we think the outcome will be? Worth getting a solicitor, or just begging like crazy?

You've been more optimistic than me, I'll say that much. I said to him that he could well be looking at more than a few months ban with a huge fine. Do you think it'll make any difference if he's already got points, or not really at this point.

I really don't understand people who go to court and DON'T wear a suit and tie. If you're homeless and can't afford one then fine, but otherwise it's an easy chance to score some brownie points before the court.
