Shall i take it???

Driving back from a mates house about 12 last nite on the A13 and got pulled by a 5 series BMW,the BIB were real nice about it,they asked me how fast i was doing and not wanting to sound like i was trying to insult there intellignce i said about a 100,then thet said i was doing about 120,he also said at one stage he was diong 150 to catch up to me. Now i have to say the guy was what i would call an old school cop,he ask me how many points i have and i told him none (which is the truth) so he said he would only book me for 98 so i would only get 3 points and not loose my breif,the point im trying to make is if they didnt really know how fast i was doing is it worth all the hassle of going to court,by the way there were 2 of them in the car.. To be honest they were real cool about the whole thing,im gonna take the points,but just wanted to know the score on this,ive been real lucky upto now...

Thanks for all the replies chaps but i think its getting a bit nerdie now!! Just to put this right i was given a caution at the start,and did admit that i was doing over a tonn,in fact at one point it was more like 150ish,the road was empty,i wasnt pissed,and was upfront and spoke to them the same way they spoke to me,very polite both side`s,i know a lot of you are saying just take the points,which is good advise,but i just wanted to know if they had to have hard evidence or not.He even said what a good bit of driving it was,while i let the other one sat in the car and had a look Its a shame all BIB aint the same....
