Horse-Box Speed Camera
Police attempt to trap motorists
It appears that North Wales police force is getting sneaky in its war on speeding.
It has been leaked by an insider that the force recently purchased a horse-box with the intention of converting it into a covert speed camera.
The van is apparently intended for targeting motorbikes, but this suggests it will be placed on roads popular with enthusiasts, where it is sure to snare a few car drivers as well.
When asked to comment, a spokesman for the force refused to deny the rumours, saying: "We never comment on speculation about police enforcement, that’s all the comment we're making."
All we can suggest is that you drive carefully and keep your eyes peeled if you are in the area any time soon.

And this is where the "Safety camera" idea ends and "revenue building" begins
Excuse me but there was never any safety content in speed cameras. I think it was a money spinner right from the start.Problem is the revenue is being squeezed by people spotting the cameras and vans and SLOWING DOWN. And that's the last thing they want!

If it's unmanned, someone will tow it into a remote field/stream.
If it's manned, someone will slap a padlock on the door, then tow it into a remote field/stream.
The only way I could see this working is with two BiB, one operating the camera and the other guarding the door. Or maybe one man and his dog (...went to fleece the public).
Bear in mind - you're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
