Hi Guys. I'm back home now - pretty beat up and bloody sore, but 4-6 weeks should see me out and about.

Thanks to you all for your kind comments which were reaching me via Cliff and my wife, Jeannie.
Special thanks to Cliff who drove us to/from the hospital - thanks mate.

Your "suggestions" regarding performance enhancements reached me too late I'm afraid. The surgeon put in new headers with the emphasis on restoring flow and long term reliablity.

No can do I'm afraid. The Doc said "whatever you do don't get involved in minor irritations". He didn't mention you specifically though

Good to see/hear from you again Richard. Glad to see the surgeon didn't take out the humerous chip. At the end of your 'rest period', will we need shades to protect our eyes from the super shiny results of all the polishing you will be doing? Look forward to seeing you around again soon.

Guess you legged it out the place when Tony B arrived. Good decision I feel.

Hi Richard, really glad all went well. If you'd like a visitor or two on a Sunday or Monday let us know, we're always needing excuses for a drive! Be away from next Sat at the World Street Finals in Orlando for 2 weeks but any time after that!

The next few weeks could prove to be a bit tedious so all visitors would be extremely welcome.

Thanks Paul - I kept my entry for Dream Rides until I got out of hospital but I've binned it now.

Yes, mileage next year will be no object - my retirement means I will have all the time in the world (just short of money)

Hi Steve - thanks mate. I was making progress until yesterday when I was diagnosed with a Deep Vein Thrombosis - sod it. But hey, "there's always someone worse off than you" but I'm buggered if I can find him.

Glad it rained at Brands - now that has cheered me up.
