It's about time we had another VW meet. February always means a HUGE turnout, as I guess people have been hibernating over winter and can't bare it any more.

For those who've not been to a VW meet before, the venue is the enormous car park next to The Wheatsheaf in Virginia Water in Surrey on the A30.

The car park is now £4.50 (or free to owners of Caterhams and other very low cars ).

Planning on meeting at Fleet Services on the M3 (Northbound) at 10:30 for a 11:00 departure, all welcome

I'll be coming back from skiing on that day - providing I haven't broken anything that is ! Not sure what time I'm arriving but if its in time for lunch I'll try to be there.

Great - having posted it to all and sundry I now realise I can't go due to CCCUK committee meeting the same day. I assume also this applies to Vettheadricer and V7TTE??

Well thats a simple one, Change location to VW you have most of the committee turning up anyway (Remember Dieter, he also lives in Surrey).

Then pistonheaders can see the committee in operation.

My first committee meeting so no doubt there will be plenty of high jinx and an initiation ceremony which is probably not for the public domain.

Nige - it is the 5th - I have forwarded the original email to you.

I think the committee meeting should me moved - going to be a bit pointless when at least 3 of the people there are going to wishing they were somewhere else.

Who decides when the committee meets? a committee: and who decides when they meet; arn't commitees great! lots of meetings and still indecisions, this is what made Britain Great.

Boy even I'm confused now.

Excellent points, well made.

The trouble is that the special committee which decides when the committee will meet, needs to meet to decide when the committee will meet and whether the committee meeting on the 5th can be changed to the 4th. Once the committee that meets to decide when the committee will meet has decided, they will tell the comiittee who will then meet to agree the change to the 4th.
