Who was it in the yellow z-06 with the pistonheads stickers all down the sides then?

We passed you in a 996 on the way there and were dissapointed you didnt make a bit more of an effort to keep up.

chuck in a few bends and you wouldnt see which way a 996 went.

your corvette was chucking out quite a lot of black smoke btw....

we were having an arguement whether it was 2 girls or a girl and a bloke in the car on the way there.... we put this down to the driving and the hair

yeah the 996 probably would be a pretty small dot in the mirror by then and quite hard to see which field it ended up in...

Did you not watch any race at lemans the corvettes did very well I’m told, and last time I looked they didn’t go in a straight line for 24 hours.

Shame Porsche dont race the GT2 it would have kicked some american ass.

Dont forget the 911 and Corvette run in different classes as the corvette requires greater modification to enable it to race ala GTS regs...

Which planet are you from? Planet Stupid?

If the Corvette can out handle a Ferrari 550 and is only a fraction slower in a straight line, how exactly are you expecting a Porker to beat it? The Corvettes passed the Porkers as if they were parked when I was watching them.

you miss the point the GT3 is a pretty standard road car, the GTS class cars (e.g. Corvette) are heavily modified to race.

A Porsche GT2 with a 700bhp turbo engine and GTS modifications would whoop a vette

My point is the Corvette GT cars that run in the US (standard road cars modifed for the track) aka GT3 Porsche equivalents, would be competitive.
GT2 Porsche? Didn't see it at Le Mans? So if it is so good why not?

Just finished watching the British GT's and the corvette was trounced by almost every other car out there, including 911's.

Good job there is 6 miles between each bend at Le Mans, gives the Vettes a sporting chance.

I agree the t350 was a heap and was sold long ago.

had a viper since (which opened my eyes to american cars) then a porsche again....

dont take the banter to heart, i almost imported a z-06 when the interest rate reached 1.93 recently, it would have made one 21k inc import duty, which seemed very good value

So second in the first race at Combe and beating several VW GT's and a couple of Fiat's is being trounced?! Interesting use of the word.
