I had a superlight as my 1st ever Caterham. I foolishly test drove it as a standard factory spec car (aero screen, plastic seat (pre tillets) no heater.
I then had leather seats, screen and heater added.....oh the mistakes of youth and a novice seven owner!!!
As much as I see you point.... I wouldn't want a seven without a heater! I'm all for driving the car with the heater turned up in the middle of winter .I then had leather seats, screen and heater added.....oh the mistakes of youth and a novice seven owner!!!

I built Superlight 190 in 2002 and sold it in 2009, I reckon its now had around four owners. Still looks immaculate!L100NYY said:
On a random note, I noticed this car has a chip on the lip of the dash too, and lots of cars seem to have a rubber cover over this bit. I have no idea what this would be called and assume I could just get a length of some generic cover to put on mine to protect it. Anyone know what I should be looking for?I've got some trim on the edge you refer to.
I Googled "Automotive edge trim" and found on the first page the following
http://www.nfauto.co.uk/rubber_trim.htm
http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-330-pvc-edge-trims...
Should be able to find what you need on the Woolies site.
