Any Caterham owners in West or central Scotland?

As per title. I am looking to have a sit in an SV car or a std chassis car with lowered floors. I don't have the time just now to travel to the usual dealers down South so would like to try a bit closer to home if possible.
Ideally north Glasgow /Stirling area.
Had a std Roadsport around 2007 so not a complete novice.......

There’s a Caterham & Lotus 7 Club meeting at The Old Mill at Killearn on the third Thursday of the month. It might be worth popping up there as they’re a friendly bunch & there’s generally a good selection of Sevens that you could try for size.

I have an S3 car with lowered floors, but I’ve raised the driver’s seat an inch or so (ironically, perhaps!), so it wouldn’t be representative of a standard car.

Ah, thats handy to know. I am only 15 minutes from Killearn!!. Do you go yourself?

I go fairly regularly. Especially if a group blat is on the cards! I’m in Edinburgh, so it’s a fair trek for me.

Ok thanks. I guess next Thursday ( 20th) is next meeting then. I will try to be there at 7. In case there is a Blat organised and everyone has gone !!!.

Okay, that’s great. I’ll let you know on here, if the plans change. If a blat is organised, you’d be welcome to come along with me. The forecast for next week isn’t looking too promising at the moment, mind you, but you never know!

It seems like the meeting isn’t happening this month, as various people are away or busy. That does happen occasionally. It’ll probably go ahead as normal next month though. Sorry about that. Unfortunate timing!
