Is the third brake light installed by default on Caterhams sold outside of the UK? I have seen some French and German models with that third brake light. Today most modern cars already come with it, although it's not a compulsory item, as far as I know.

Yes, it is.

Are you still thinking on getting a Seven? Did you know that there is a new dealership in Madrid, in the Jarama circuit?

Yes, that's my idea, but I don't know it will happen anytime soon or if it will ever happen (there's a constant battle between my brain and my heart). I know about the dealer in Madrid. Let's hope they last for many years. Caterhams never sold well in Spain.

That's because the dealer was crap, and his prices eye watering. Although I suppose that was because of the extortionate fee's for importing vehicles, and getting them through Matriculation. I don't think he was ever interested in selling cars, he just wanted a good deal for himself and his mates. But I think Caterham couldn't get out of the contract, and he had the monopoly for Spain. I hope the new dealers are more serious.
There are 4 Caterham's that I know of in Mallorca, but they're all RHD cars imported from UK. You'd be very fortunate to find a LHD car for sale.
A friend of mine was going crazy looking for one, and I advised him to buy a RHD car in UK and import it, much more choice, and realistic prices, which he did. He's over the moon with it, and the RHD isn't realy an issue with it being such a small nimble car.

Good luck finding one, Entropia. Let me know if i may be of any help.

Mick, fancy and adventure in Madrid? We're celebrating the Colin Chapman Spirit 2023 and we're hiring the Jarama Circuit in mid October, for the bank holiday, and some rallies around great roads as well. It's mostly a lightweights meeting, and we're a tight crew. PM me for details if you want to know more.
