Hi have a set of wheels to go back on a 1996 dedion (k series) caterham, and it originally came with silver wheels so all wheel nuts were silver. The wheels are now all black and wanted wheel nuts to match, just wondering if anyone knows the exact size, i think they maybe M12 (19mm socket) and all have a tapered seat.

Also does anyone know a good on line supplier.

Thanks

Jas

Size is 12 x 1.5 60 degree seat. Peugot and other use the same taper and PCD on some wheels too!

I use 22mm (socket) open racing wheel nuts - you can see how much stud is used (scrutineers like them). I also fitted longer studs so various depth wheel seats would not be a problem.

I got the longer studs and nuts from a local Rally factor.
The nuts were Zinc plate and with a bit of use they have gone dark grey'ish and match the 8 spoke anthracite wheels I have.

Try Redline - very helpful

or independent

(Can't see anything black but they do have Zinc plate ones).

or perhaps Caterham cars - Support them or see them go out of business.

Thanks - found the size it was just visable on one of the older nuts.

I managed to get a set off on line wheel supplier Kei Tuner nuts, seem ok, did have a look at all the usual places but they all seemed to be silver, just had wheels sprayed black.

Have to admit redline are my usual first choice for components probably the best caterham parts supplier around always had excellent service.
