Used the gym for a run and workout (mainly as a way of avoiding drinking at 2pm tbh) and then had a sauna and a swim. I'm a man, and therefore the sentence "use the spa" isn't really part of my lexicon. Very nice though - really not bad at all.

When I walked into the pool though I was the *only* bloke amidst about 20 women wearing dressing gowns and seemingly reading copies of TVQuick. Very strange.

Check-in was a bit slow but it wasn't due to lack of staff (there were three when we arrived) or efficiency. The 30-ish blonde bob lady who checked us both in and out did look at me like I was some kind of serial killer, but to be fair she has probably dealt with CB and CW7 in previous years and that's not going to be easy to recover from

That's the last time I ever take CB's name badge. You won't believe the abuse I got from people when they saw 'me'. Honestly, you never would have imagined the language that could omit forth from the mouths of 'ladies'.

Hotel was great. I was talking with the staff there in the morning as well. They seemed quite happy all in all. Look forward to going back. Strawapeados .. how to abuse an underage vodka drink.
