Hi all. New to the forum & after reading all the posts on this thread, thought I'd chip in. Deposit down two weeks ago at Gowrings Reading on a Ruby GT with heated/cooled seats, shaker & sensors.
That's exactly the spec of my car, same dealer too! It should in theory be here on New Year's Eve, but I suspect that date might not happen...

Bound to happen I guess. I was looking at DIB for a while but felt that the Ruby brought out the lovely lines all that better. Preferred the all black with red look too so Ebony interior....... forgot to mention that

Well, we wouldn't miss each other would we! I'm right on the South Oxfordshire / Berks border so it's certainly possible. If I see you, I'll wave like crazy (& hope to hell it is you 😉)

TC Harrison Derby have a rhd black Mustang at their showroom until the 8th November if anyone needs to see one to get a "mustang fix" before theirs arrives.

The upper grill looks a bit cheap - may need an upgrade

Yep. Saw one while in Barcelona for work recently and this is definitely the case - there are lines you don't see on photos. It is a stunning car and you can tell that every crease has been meticulously thought about.

Maybe just perception, but one thing i noticed was that it didn't seem as big as i had imagined it to be... it'll still be biggish on our roads i'm sure, but i'd grown it too much in my head. Be interesting if this what others say too.

It looks HUGE in a showroom, pretty sure when I checked the dimensions though it was roughly the same size as the S60 I just handed back. It's lower but that was about all.

It's 2 inches shorter and either 2 inches thinner or wider than a MK4 Mondeo estate.

Now I am confused..

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the Automatic Seat and Mirror position set buttons are on the US drivers side..
Not great if you are driving on the opposite side in the UK.
I haven't seen the drivers inner door, but seems strange to have 2..!

I'd say that's just the window up and down switch for the passenger

Did you take those pics Dal?

If so can you confirm the colour of all those reflectors as being amber on the sides but red on the rear or is it just a trick of the light and they're all amber?

Looks like those pics also confirm we get the stty lower ACC grill rather than the fang design of the upper. ANOTHER expense to add to the ever-growing list of mods to make it look acceptable. rolleyes
