So who has ordered the new S550 Mustang?

These guys are putting in some effort. Wish they were my nearest dealer! They have a dedicated Mustang website, Facebook page, a range of merchandise already available etc. It looks like they're trying to keep people informed with as much information as is possible. On their videos page there are a couple of clips showing a UK registered magnetic grey fastback 'M600 FMC' - anyone seen it anywhere?

I went with one of my sons to the SpeedFest at Brands Hatch yesterday. I have never seen so many US Muscle cars in one place. A lot of the cars looked like they had just come off the factory floor.
There were something like 200 Mustangs alone.
Was hoping to see a 2015 amongst them but no dice until I spotted a Roush 2015 sat under a tent by one of the big Nascar trucks. It was in the central pits/paddock area so no access for a mere mortal like me and all I could get was a shaky spy shot all the way from Cooper Straight.
Watching all those Chargers, Challengers, Road Runners, Barracudas, Mustangs, Camaros, Crown Vics, Corvettes and the rest driving around, parking up and just sitting in the sun made for a brilliant day.
Everywhere you looked there were just fantastic US cars in sight as well as the Nascar racers tearing, and crashing, around the track. It was like being in America for the day although someone on another forum said that you would never have seen that much vintage muscle at a US sports/racing event

Does beg the feeling that Ford UK are just not bothered. I would have thought a stand with even a US GT would have brought in a lot more interest. I would love to know the (lack of) thinking behind all this.
EFA.Think Guildford have one there today, under a sheet till at least 1700. I forgot to ask when the actual unveiling would be so will probably have to turn up at 1700 and have to wait around for an hour or so till they have enough of a crowd. Doh!

Glad you had a good day, and brilliant weather for it.
Id be surprised if the faded stripes will be painted tbh. Surely they will be vinyl with clear coat over the top possibly?
Yep, can sit in it, mess around with the seats, they've started it a couple of times.
Interior is the saddle leather. No extra dash gauges so not sure what model that makes it but it's a V8!
Just asked, it's here for a couple of weeks as they're an american company apparently so they got sent this one specially. Open till 1900 unless there's still people here. Only about 10 or so here right now.

Little update on my visit to Think Ford in Guildford...
If you get the chance to see one in the flesh, DO IT!
There is not one thing about that car I found fault with. Admittedly, it was a LHD one so different mirrors, bonnet vents etc, but the lines, the size, the interior, all absolutely stunning!
One detail of note for me personally was the rearward visibility. I had specced the reverse sensors but was considering changing that since 1. I wanted a nice smooth rear bumper, and 2. it has a reversing camera, but on sitting in this one, the view from door & rear mirrors combined with the proportions of the rear of the car mean it's not going to be a particularly easy car to reverse park. I'm sure the camera will do a fine job but for me, I'm going to keep the reverse sensors.

The car is sold out for at least a year, they've done pretty well so far.As has been mentioned several times in this thread by myself and others, this is completely normal for a new car launch.
You should've come to say hello yesterday, I was with all the Mustangs.
Standard Mustang headlights and LED's not floating your boat? ..... check this out! .... .....
