So who has ordered the new S550 Mustang?

After not putting any serious thought into ordering one, I'm off to finalise my order with the dealer today.
Still not 100% sure on colour but leaning towards a Ruby Red V8 manual Fastback. Or maybe black..? Hmmm!
I started with Magnetic and then black at the behest of Mrs unpc but I subsequently was looking at car park full of supercars at work and the black ones looked like nothing really. I took my concerns to a full suite of felt pen fairies in the studio and Ruby Red was the answer. Still not 100% sure on colour but leaning towards a Ruby Red V8 manual Fastback. Or maybe black..? Funnily enough this colour scheme was on my radar also and I've just seen a new MX5 in a similar colour scheme too. I know there is a Ford/Mazda tie-up so would the colours be the same do you think? ....B

Here's a picture of my current Mustang in Ruby Red, hope this helps with your decision. McSpugit said:

I also almost went Ruby Red, but whilst it looks great in strong sunlight, I feared it would look a bit dull/muddy in the UK? It takes a really strong red in the UK to really 'pop'.Stig said:

So I have a few days before I can no longer change my order. Up to now I have stuck with Competition Orange, Fastback GT no extras but I'm now wondering if I should get the parking sensors and even the Sat Nav.
Doh!
When I was deciding, my thought process went along the lines of:Doh!
1. IF I ever sell, the more options, the better.
2. It's my special occasion car so why not?
3. (now that I've sat in it) reverse sensors will be very useful.
4. On the rare occasions the stereo will be on, why not have the best one?
As long as the cost isn't an issue, ask yourself what benefit you'll get from NOT having the extra options...
No reverse sensors: smooth bumper but possible parking issues
No upgraded audio: sound not as good
No climate seats: when you're too hot or too cold, that's how you'll stay.
