Looking for something that has an agressive look & stance...looks over power, (them days are behind me )
Grey, black, maybe Blue or silver in that preference...not looked into buying a standard & kitting it out with a bodykit/wheels/exhaust etc really have not got the time & effort..so would prefer one thats been done budget upto 18k for right car...
Miles below 50k...age not as important as condition...
Roush a bonus!
Seen this but wrong colour preference & i think over priced a little....Please correct me if i'm wrong:-

If you want looks over power and have an £18k budget buy a V6 (you can get them for less than half of your budget)and then make the necessary bodywork changes. Waste of time buying a V8 if you aren't interested in the power aspect of owning a Mustang.
No think you've missed my point on my earlier posts...I had a V8 Capri & now i'm hooked on that sound...V8 is the only way for me...perhaps what I mean is Super charger etc, etc...not too bothered about that stuff....PS I would have yours if it was manaul & without red seats...its seems a good buy...shame your gonna sell to a dealer at 12k?...it is too good for that...

Ahh ok I follow now, fair enough.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the AT/MT thing if you just want to cruise around in it the auto will be better, want to take it on a circuit go for the manual, drag racing - the auto is the only way to go.

I'm not Panzer3 off the S197 Forums by the way wink
Sorry for the confusion...new to all this...

....really having a tough time finding the 'right one' far too over powered for me that black one...+ its black my second choice of colour....i've had fastish cars in the past...also had a 360 Ferrari for the weekend, but that power would be wasted on me...and with a family I'd like to be around for a while
As for insurance perhaps i was being naive as my V8 Capri cost me £150 per year limited 2000 miles ( 42 FNCB) with Adrian Flux so thought a stang would be £500 max...but will look into please can anyone recommend through thier experiece the best insurers for stangs...many thanks...

Thought I got lucky with....(below) but sadly it’s an auto....

Then this one...which I think is a little overpriced....also not sure about that red leather!!!!

Think I'll stick to what I want...I've got the time....
Grey - Manual - Modified looks - Engine stock or slightly modified - condition over age - not more than 55k - up to 18k

Thanks for all your input guys - i do appreciate it - even the negative comments...

One of the most confusing threads I've seen: "looks over power" then we see links to a Roush 420RE but "I don't want anything fast".

I guess I have all this to look forward to when I put mine up for sale....i.e. people who don't know what they want.

Still don't understand the OP's requirements
To be fair I wasnt sure what I wanted but I know now...

Grey (Tungsten over Mineral)- Manual - Modified looks - Engine stock or slightly modified - condition over age with service history - not more than 55k - up to 18k

Hows that?

Body kits are expensive especially in terms of shipping. It's all very well saying do it yourself but it's the kit, the shipping, the fitting and the spraying on top which usually means you pop a bank vault over buying one with it already done.
Thats exactly what i'm thinking LUS1FER...
I do like this kit on this:-

Have you checked out the insurance position yet?
Not sure if you mean myself (42 FNCB) in general...yes Adrian Flux quoted £480 limited miles for a more or less normal one.
My last was £150 with the wife on there (33)- shame the stang is not classed as a classic...

Ok guys, been taking it on the chin for a little while now...so perhaps I need to expand my search....
Very pleased to get all the comments good, bad & tongue in cheek are all appreciated

Calling quality 'black' or the hardly seen 'alloy grey'...to the list...

Just to remind you guys the spec sheet...

Grey (Alloy/Mineral/Tungstgen) or black - Manual - Modified looks preffered - Engine stock or *modified (*preffered, but pref NOT supercharged) -
FSH & must be in excellent condition, more important than age - not more than 40k - up to 20k for right Stang.
- please do think I'm an easy buyer - no deep pockets here...

NO CONVERTIBLES / NO AUTO's / NO HALFORDS

PM me or mail to wozturner@aol.com with details/pics ect,

Its been almost a year! still nothing....Several very good offers to other owers..but all had a charge of heart
