To keep momentum going with this, we need to establish rules ,tracks and dates.

Dates
Starting this Sunday

Tracks
Donington National
Brands National or International....or both?

Rules
Same as before, maybe can lose 2 scores for people who can't make every event etc.

I think we should have positions 1 - 10 being point paying.

Yep definately Ferraris. And Position 1 - 10 getting 10 - 1 points respectively would keep things verry close
Good idea..

Dave.

I'm up for the Fezza Cup

Can we avoid the really long tracks though (Spa, Mondello etc) and try to stick to ones we can lap in 60-90 secs. Stick to a 30 minute race and this time no compulsary pit stops

All the short courses (Mondello is long anyway ) but it does have 2 shorter courses.

Short Nurburgring, Anderstorp North & South, Monza short, short Dijon, Short Magny Cours and any other shorter track.

Points down to 15th or 20th would encourage people to stick with a race rather than leaving half way through.
Where is the best place to download Brands from?

I agree. In the old league we were at least split into two groups so there was always the chance of getting some points in your class. But just like real racing, you should always stick with it because there are often mechanical failures, crashes or even the phone ringing and someone drops out

It's time we nailed down a timetable of the short tracks so that we can start this Sunday 7th May and people have time to practice.

So how about:

7th May Anderstorp South
14th May Brands Indy
21st May Dijon Short
28th May Donington National
4th June Hockenheim Short
11th June Magny National
18th June Mondello National
25th June Monza Junior
2nd July Nurburgring Mullenbach

Would it be too late to ask for a 9pm start since Top Gear starts next Sunday at 8pm?

Can I respectfully suggest the 28th May be the 29th with it being Bank Holiday and all.

Oh, and the fact that I'll be at a wedding, and Donny is my 'good' track

Seconded, I've got it on Sky+ but the trouble is if you don't watch it on sunday you get all the details of what was in it monday morning at work...

Unfortunately im only going to be able to make the first 3 races I think

May bank holiday weekend im at Run to the sun in newquay.
Suppose I might just make it if its on the monday, but I might not.

Might just make the 4th of june before I go traveling round the world, but im not sure.

Just have to try and win the races im in then

At least I only have 3 or 4 tracks to practice.

I have to get up for work (monday to friday) at 5am ish.

So 9pm is on the limit for me. As long as the race is over within an hour then its ok as I need to be getting ready for bed about 10pm.
Sunday nights especially as im usually out till 2am saturday nights :P so I need my beauty sleep.

I can put up wth 9pm starts, but much prefer 8pm.
Especially if its a hectic race as it might take me an hour to chill out afterwards.
