The interstellar grind was much easier in this game than MW, MW2 and Vanguard ones. Pleased I got it out of the way last month as my PS5 has developed yet another fault and won't send a signal to the TV. I have a PS3 which still spins up just fine but the PS5 seems to be made of cheese in comparison.

I had the same issue then i did this and it worked

Check the connection to your TV and try connecting the console to a different HDMI port. If that doesn't work, try using a different HDMI cable or hooking your PS5 up to a different TV. If you have a Smart TV, make sure the firmware has been updated to the latest version. Turn off HDR.

I have been doing the camo grind. I think I have maybe 24 forged now...

Need to unlock gilded on the last LMG, and I have not enjoyed the LMG challenges.

I got bored so am trying to level 2 weapons at time for variation, and playing game modes I enjoy on larger maps instead of just grinding the small maps.

I will push on with it though and hopefully finish during season 3, then start playing WZ again

I think it's a hardware fault unfortunately. I had it a few weeks ago and tried on other TV's, changed ports and bought a new HDMI cable just in case. I took it to a repair shop, and they fixed it but a few weeks later, the same thing has happened. I'll take it back to the shop and see if they'll take responsibility for the repair as it looks like whatever they did wasn't up to scratch.

I have just tried a firmware update on the TV just in case. Turns out it wasn't connected to wi-fi so no automatic updates have come through. All connected now but it says there are no updates anyway :-(

I unlocked Interstellar last week and I agree, the LMG challenges were some of the least enjoyable. Fortunately I didn't need to get all 6 of them Priceless for Interstellar so I avoided the Pulemyot Priceless challenge of '5 kills 10 times' and did the others. I avoided the Markman Rifles wholesale as I'm a PC player and the permanent sway thing they introduced just made them feel horrendously inaccurate (snipers are alright though).

I've enjoyed the times I've played since as I can use the guns i enjoy using for each map. Switching back to the decent assault rifles and subs feels like you've been handed a death ray...

I've just come back to COD having not played it since PS3 days - finished the Campaign mode and started getting involved in the online modes.

Something weird happened yesterday. Started a free-for-app game on the Karachi map and as soon as the game started, I got hit by kill-streak style a cruise missile. What was that all about?

Sometimes you join a game mid game but there are cheaters out there with hacked versions. I get killed so often it makes no difference.

Up to 30 forged now (Need 36 to unlock the priceless challenges, then complete 36 priceless camos for interstellar).

Fortuantely I have got plenty of easier challenges to get my last 6, so on the home run now. This will feel like an achievement!!

Untill i find out i have a really hard priceless challenge in the mix and need to get another weapon through all the unlocks.

Yeah, it's bad. Bad on Warzone at the moment too, had someone locate me through a wall yesterday with some kind of aim assist then one shot kill me despite 3 plates intact. It was blatant cheating on the kill cam.

I now turn off cross play on Multiplayer, takes longer to get in lobbies but you don't see hacking.

I never knew that. 20 years of playing online COD and this is a revelation.

Anyone been tempted by the darkside of XDefiant? I'd say it's harder than CoD, not because of the lack of SBMM (which cuts both ways), but because the longer time to kill can make it unforgiving if your shots aren't on point. If you go from CoD hardcore to XDefiant it feels like you've replaced a rail gun with a water pistol, and a broken one at that. Adapt your playstyle a bit, which in my case is staying closer to teammates and being a bit more picky which gunfights you choose, and it's a good game. I hope it succeeds and provides some real competition to CoD for the benefit of both games. Maybe CoD will start reducing their insane bundle prices.

I'd say my only real gripe with XDefiant is the ability to see enemies through walls, which also shows enemy locations for your teammates. It only covers a limited area, similar to a portable radar, but it refreshes fairly quickly and if multiple enemies are using it they have something that's too close to permanent wallhacks in my opinion.

I think i'm up to 17 now, a mixture of battle royale and plunder wins, that's over the last map (Al Mazrah) and this current one.

Oddly most of my wins have been when playing in the winter on a weekend late afternoon, I find if I play after 8pm I get mullered

My one win is on this current map, got a couple in Verdansk, only ever really play Battle Royale.

And to caveat I am st, although I have a K/D ratio now of 0.56, which is probably the highest its ever been.
