PS4 GTA V Online

Still can't log on here. Got on fine at midday on Christmas Day; only tried a few times since but it's stupid. Can't log in via Sony's site either and the US support page says PSN is down, though it also says it was last updated on 25/12/2014.

For those trying to get in, in the network settings leave everything as it was but change MTU to 1473, god knows why but it appears to be helping lots get online.

After 5 or so tries I finally managed to get logged in and online again!

Same as this, takes a few attempts but gets there in the end.

I've been on today but can't currently get into PSN at all - it just says the server has terminated the connection. Sony are having serious problems, clearly. I suspect it's as much to do with loads of people trying to download updates for new games and new consoles as anything else.

I Changed MTU on router as per neogaf...worked on PS4 for about 2hrs. now back to square one though.


I'm online on PS3 (GT6 if anyone wants to join me)
However it won't connect to online on PS4 again.

Started to play single player due to no psn. I have noticed there is no option to manually save where you want like on the 360 version. Very annoyed at that.

finally got signed into psn so loaded gtav. Then It says files required to play online couldn't be downloaded from rockstar. I'm giving up again for the night

It's interesting isn't it.

Watched Top Gear then tried PS4....no good.
Tried PS3....straight online and spent until 5mins ago on GT6 in a lounge of 14 randoms having a blast.
Thought I'd try PS4 again before bed.....still no good.


PS4 ONLINE = Broken.
PS3 ONLINE = 100% ok

Quick question - I know my gamer tag is what shows up in game but does my real name show up in the PS4 friends section to any of you? It does for me and I'd like to revert to displaying my gamer tag but can't find an option to do that; I can't change my real name because it's associated with my YouTube account now. Grrr!

Just Jobbo to me too, it will only show your real name in a freinds list if they send you a "real name" request and you accept to send it.
