I wasn't initially gripped by this but now I know what I'm doing and can actually use the hacking to my advantage it's much better!

Invading other people games and hacking / tailing them is an interesting twist. I find it's best to be up high before you start hacking them, or park a car with tinted windows next to them in the street then hide in it. Until they bring out an AK and start spraying everyone to find you...

Very gimmicky, but it's something different and pretty cool.
I'm always pleased to hear about games trying different things. While I've got no problem with doing something tried and tested in a new game - if it ain't broke, why fix it? - I also like to think that there are developers out there thinking of things that we haven't done before. While it might be fun I don't think anyone would be particularly blown away by a new Team Capture The Deathmatch mode in Call Of Duty Future Advanced Ultimate Racist Warfare XI Evolution Redux.

Ok my initial reaction are.

Driving sucks balls.
Graphics no where near what I thought it would be. It doesn't look "next gen", the graphics don't look a lot better than ps4. It's the peoples faces and mouths that make it look poor, especially knowing what ubisoft can do ac4 was a lot more realistic looking.
Game play is fun hacking at a one touch is a little simple but makes it quick.

I have played it for around 12 hours now, onto the third act, it hasnt gotten any better, the graphics arent as good as they should be,

I am surprised that they still havent brought out a GOOD game on the PS4 yet...

Starting to really enjoy it. The game invasion idea is brilliant.

Ended up hacking a guy who decided to pop a few rounds off to flush me out, cue police turning up and me just hiding in a skip while he had to fight them and find me at the same time!

Also hacked a guy while hiding in a big rig ,he must have ran round it 10 time and never suspected it!

I was thinking the graphics on the Ps3 version were rubbish to make the PS4 look good but from what I've read the PS4 version is just as bad. The game itself is quite fun, it's a shame they couldn't have got the other stuff right.

I really like the game was about 35% done and lost my game!!! Playing and got a power cut. Game save is there but game don't know its there and can only play new game. Looked online and there's not anything u can do but start again. So there's 3 ways to to lose ur game, 2 are for Xbox and PC with are playing online and when u come bk after online game u don't have anything and back to act 1. 2nd is game loads to 90% and don't load and 3rd for ps3 and may be other is if your playing and a power cuts happen.

I've heard there are crippling PC issues (i.e massive lag, jerking, save game corruption, unable for it to run smoothly on SLI'd 780ti's etc).

The RPS review wasn't exactly glowing, and these guys generally talk sense:

I thought this might be the game for an excuse to purchase a PS4, not sure now after seeing reviews. Looks like it never got released to the standard the E3 previews suggested. My Xbox One sits largely unplayed and I fancy having a go at The Last Of Us when the PS4 port is finished - might have to wait until then.

I've had no performance issues and I'm running at 5760x1080 with ultra settings apart from shadows which are on medium I think.

I'm running an i7 4820, 8Gb RAM and a 780Ti, framerates are averaging somewhere in the 40's since the latest nVidia driver update.
AA and occlusion filtering are the settings that seem to damage the FPS, so don't put them on full.

I've only seen network lag on one occasion but that may have just been due to a high ping, not had any save game corruption yet.

Well I had a change of heart and for a PS4/Watch Dogs bundle on Friday night. I'm actually rather enjoying the game - the driving physics are shocking, there are typos in the subtitles and it doesn't quite feel totally finished, but the gameplay overall is fun and I'm enjoying doing the 'gang hideout' missions and being as stealthy as possible. It's a great concept, and I think if they make a sequel it'll be a corker.

i think your last comment is spot on, this is a great starting block, hopefully ubisoft will learn alot from this game and make a sequel that is what this game should of been

I think this is a much better starting point for a new franchise than the original Assassins Creed, and look where that has gone. There is quite a lot of stuff to do away from the main story. The 'Tripping' sections alone are worth a good few hours of gameplay.

I'm enjoying this much more than I thought I would, but I haven't read any reviews or followed any of the pre launch hype. Perhaps that's the trick these days.

Disappointed about the download cost of £60. I haven't bought a game on disk since the PS4/XBone launched but couldn't stomach that price when the disk is £44.

Despite the negative reviews I went ahead and bought the game and to be honest I've enjoyed it so far.

although it doesn't go as in-depth as i thought regarding the hacking, and it is similiar to GTA style games, it has enough differences and some brilliant twists on the traditional gameplay style to make it stand-out. Treat it on its own merits and its fantastic.

PvP is fun as well, with modes i don't think i've seen anywhere else before.

. . . and you can sell the disk for £25 when you're bored of it 6 months later.

No wonder people kicked off when the Xbox one was originally going to be download games only. hehe

I don't understand what people are banging on about, this game is excellent. I love the way the playability is centred on the character your playing so you really get into it. The in-car view is excellent, why has no one done this before. The car engine noises are enjoyable to listen to. This game has some of that feeling I had from operation flashpoint, where I would do missions again and again different ways. The driving about reminds of playing robocop on an amiga once when I was a child. Definitely my favourite ps4 game so far.

I'm enjoying it a lot more now I've played it for a while. Sadly no in car view on PS3, pretty sure it's capable but I guess it's a way of making the PS4 version look better. Some of themissions have been a lot of fun. (although a couple were a total pain!) It's quite fun tautning guards by seting this off around them. For some reason some of them carry electroically controlled explosives which you can hack and set off! Sometimes they realise and chuck them away in time and other times they fail and get blown up. If you can attract several others to the area first you can get rid of them all at the same time. Quite funny to lock them out of places too! hehe

So even tho I lost me game save!!! I'm back and pass where I was and its a really really good game. Only thing I do is sign out as soon as I get on the game as they still not fix the bugs that make ppl lose there game save, one being when you get hacked and after u kill the hacker u lose everything. 9/10 for me and I'm on ps3
